Customization & Compatibility

The pendant is available in Single Layer and Double Layer configurations. The Single Layer version creates a simpler and lighter silhouette, while the Double Layer option adds greater depth and a fuller woven appearance.

Four diameter options are available: Ø40 cm (15.75"), Ø50 cm (19.69"), Ø60 cm (23.62"), and Ø80 cm (31.50"). The smaller sizes work well for more compact dining, bedroom, and kitchen settings, while the Ø60 cm and Ø80 cm versions create greater presence in larger living and dining spaces.

The pendant uses a replaceable E27 LED bulb, making future light-source replacement straightforward. 3000K Warm White is recommended as standard, while other colour temperatures can be selected by using a compatible E27 LED bulb.

Dimming is supported. A compatible dimmable E27 LED bulb and suitable wall dimmer should be used. For assistance with bulb compatibility, wall dimmers, or electrical configuration, please contact Lubrel Support.

The supplied 150 cm (59.06") suspension cord is adjustable and can be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height and preferred hanging position.

The fitting is configured for 110–120V or 220–240V according to destination and is designed for hardwired ceiling-suspended installation only. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical requirements.

Jute is a natural fibre. Minor variations in fibre tone, weave density, texture, and surface appearance are expected and form part of the natural character of each shade.

Design & Materials

Natural jute is the defining material of the Cape Points pendant. Its woven fibres create texture, subtle irregularity, and a warmer visual character that works naturally with timber, linen, stone, plaster, and other organic materials.

The Single Layer version keeps the pendant visually lighter, while the Double Layer configuration creates additional depth through overlapping woven forms and a stronger ceiling presence.

The Ø40 cm and Ø50 cm sizes are well suited to smaller dining areas, bedrooms, and compact kitchen settings. The Ø60 cm and Ø80 cm versions create greater scale above larger dining tables and more open living spaces.

Because the shade is made from natural fibre, slight differences in colour and weave are expected between individual pieces and contribute to the natural material character of the fitting.
